How to Fix No SIM Card inserted error (Samsung Galaxy S3/S2)

According to the said user, the Samsung Galaxy S3 is less than a year old when the problem eventually arised. The phone is showing error which keeps on saying the SIM Card was not inserted eventhough the user has. The micro SIM was tried and tested on other phone units and accordingly, it worked fine.  Other SIM Card working on other phone was used in the said phone but nothing had worked.

Here are suggestions to solve the issue

  • Try cleaning the contacts (just wipe them with a soft cloth). Samsung's seem particulary sensitive to this and it's worth a go. Can you get at the contacts in the phone on an S3? Might be worth cleaning those, too.
  • Try resetting the phone.

If the two mentioned method didn't worked, then it's time to go to service center.
