A fantastic Full HD picture and a new slim design combine on this Sony Bravia KDL46EX713U TV. Sony’s innovative Edge LED
backlighting displays enhanced colours and uses GigaContrast for the
whitest whites and blackest blacks within the same frame. And unlike a
traditional LED backlight, which is positioned behind the screen, this technology places LED lights around the edge of the display, resulting in an impressively slim design.
This model uses Motionflow 100Hz
technology with Image Blur Reduction which ensures smooth, sharp images
in fast moving scenes, making it a great choice for sports and action
movies. And as it’s powered by a Bravia Engine 3 you’ll experience
images with impressive detail, optimal contrast, and truer-to-life
colours. S-Force Front Surround complements the great picture with the
full effect of digital surround sound.
The ‘Invisible’ speakers are cleverly hidden in the design and
positioned for the ideal sound elevation. Another clever feature is
'Presence Sensor' which detects motion in front of the TV so if you
leave the room the picture turns off automatically after a set time and
only turns on again when you return (or the TV goes to standby if you
don’t come back at all).
The KDL46EX713U is Wi-Fi Ready so when you add your wireless adaptor or USB dongle you can easily connect to your wireless home network without the clutter of cables. With Bravia Internet Video you’ll be able to connect your TV directly to the Internet to access selected online services.
You can also plug in USB devices to enjoy stored movies, photos and
music. And let’s not forget that the Sony KDL46EX713U is also DLNA
(Digital Living Network Alliance) compatible.
This enables you to access your photos, music and movies from your PC across your home network from a compatible device. For instance, you could play your friends
the latest MP3 track you’ve just downloaded, even though your computer
is upstairs in the spare bedroom. 1080p 1080p is the purest form of high
definition that a television can display. This leads to a smoother,
more film-like image, which will satisfy sports and movie lovers alike.
With a 1080p signal, the information that makes up an image is displayed
“progressively” or all at once, rather than in an “interlaced”
fashion.
