How to Fix Rebooting Loop or Unsuccessful Unlock on MOBILY 4G LTE Router

TROUBLESHOOTING FOR REBOOTING LOOP!!


Tools you need:
  • Screw Driver
  • Common sense

STEPS HOW TO FIX REBOOTING LOOP FOR MOBILY 4G ROUTER

  • Unplug and Disassemble the Mobily 4g Router. (Remove the two Screw)
    and carefully separate the board to the casing. (Be careful also with the antenna connectors)

MOBILY 4G LTE Router

  • Remove the GSM Module.. (The module where IMEI is written.)

MOBILY 4G LTE Router

  • Carefully Set aside the GSM module.

MOBILY 4G LTE Router
  • Plug and power ON the modem without the GSM Module. 
  • The modem should boot now and try to connect using WLAN or LAN cable.

MOBILY 4G LTE Router

  • (Proceed with the UNLOCKING PROCEDURE) Go Here: Unlock Tuts
  • After Unlocking procedure is done. Turn off your modem and reinsert/reconnect the GSM module.
  • Check the antenna connector if properly connected with the module.
  • Power On your Modem. (Should power on smoothly now.) IF your made it successfully.
  • Finally Turn off and reassemble you modem.
  • Done!

  1. it worked fine by removing the GSM module and unlock was done successful but when i reconnect the GSM module it again start rebooting in loop. how to fix this now?

    1. hi i am experiencing the same problem using the same procedure..
      updates completes succesfully but every time i reinstall the gsm module it goes back to boot loop.
      plz help.. Any luck?

    I follow the above mentioned process and unlock the modem, but the problem is that after some time router back to its default setting by automatically updating firmware.

    Please advise how to stop automatic firmware updates.

      try the step "utilities firmware update" and put the "firmware info url" as 0.0.0.0. and chek.
