Polaroid Tablet 7” Neon: 7 Things you Should Know Before Buying this Gadget

I have just bought Polaroid tablet 7’ Neon PMID71C last week in Market! Baguio City. I was also considering other cheap brands but what made me decided to buy this gadget is because of quality. 

Polaroid is a well-known American Photography Company. My reasoning is the fact that this tablet is under the trademark of American company is already an assurance of the high quality of this tablet.

Are you planning to buy this tablet? Below are the facts and my opinions about this Polaroid Neon tablet

1. The tablet is currently priced Php 3,999 but it comes with free Polaroid headset. Apart from this charge, you need to buy Micro SD card from them priced Php300 so that you can avail free games and apps as you buy this tablet.

2. This tablet is not a 3G tablet. Meaning, you can only access the internet via Wi-Fi. Based on my personal experience, this tablet is fast on browsing but it depends on the Wi-Fi hotspot signal.

3. This tablet has very limited internal memory of just 1GB. You cannot install so much application unless you buy Micro SD card with huge memory capacity.

4. This tablet is not Bluetooth-equipped. Meaning, you cannot transfer  any file like photos, songs or any kind with ease similar to what we do on cell phone to cell phone. You will need computer or laptop to transfer or install new apps or games on it via USB port.

5. This tablet has two cameras. The main camera is 2MP and the secondary or front camera is 0.3MP. Thus, you can use this tablet for video chatting using software like Skype.

6. You can use this tablet for the latest games and apps as this tablet is running on Android 4.2 OS, 512MB RAM and 1.2GHz Dual core processor.

7. This tablet is not easily drained out so you can enjoy playing games for longer hours before running out of battery.

Verdict: So far this is my observation about this Polaroid tablet. Have I missed important points? Please do care to comment about this tablet.
