Do you know that you can turn your play tricks on your friends by using your Samsung Galaxy Note 4, and other supporting Samsung phone, as a smart remote? Switch TV channels without them knowing it's you who's doing it! Turn the TV on and off and make them think something's wrong with their appliance. To learn how to do that, read on.
Samsung Galaxy Device as a Smart Remote
1. Go to your Home screen by pressing the Home button.
2. Tap on the Apps icon and touch Smart Remote to launch the application.
3. Touch on the option, Select Country or Region
4. Choose your Country
5. Input your postal code
6. Choose your TV service provider
7. If you have a digital cable service provider, touch No. If you are an analog subscriber, touch Yes.
8. You can choose to Personalize your experience or Skip to proceed to the next page.
9. Tap the Remote Control icon on the upper-right part of the screen.
10. Touch Continue
11. Touch the brand of your TV
12. Test your remote by touching the Power button
13. If your TV turned on, tap Yes, this code 1 works. If not, choose another code.
14. Choose your TV channels
15. Success! You can now use the phone as a remote. Use the remote interface just like how you normally use a TV remote.
16. Done!
