One of Cherry Mobile's most powerful phones of 2014, the Excalibur has stayed true to its name - at least on the aesthetics. The device has the elegant yet strong structure that makes it appear as if it is one tough phone. This may not be the case, in the long run.
Sooner or later you will find your device in some problems. May it be a software or hardware one, some issues with the phone can be solved with a simple restart. For those that needs a reset, then you may find this article useful. We will discuss on how to perform a hard reset on Cherry Mobile Excalibur. The device is internationally known as the XOLO Hive 8X-1000
Before doing any reset, it is necessary that you backup your phone's files. You can save the important files to your SD card or transfer them to your computer.
Hard Reset Cherry Mobile Excalibur
1. Turn off the device.
2. Simultaneously press and hold Volume Up and Power button.
3. Wait for the phone to boot into recovery mode.
4. Release the buttons.
5. Use the Volume buttons (Up and Down) to choose between selections.
6. Highlight "wipe data/factory reset" and press the Power button to select the option.
7. Use the Volume Down button to select "yes -- delete all user data". Press the Power button to select the option.
8. Choose "reboot system now" and press the Power button.
9. Wait for the phone to restart.
10. You are done! You are done with the hard reset on your Cherry Mobile Excalibur!
